Basic Element's bar is a mobile oxygen bar that offers non-medical oxygen with various scents for aromatherapy. Our guests sit at one of our aroma stations and receive oxygen through a disposable nasal cannula (nose hose). The guest relaxes at the bar while breathing normally and receiving the benefits of oxygen therapy. The air that we breathe is made up of about 20% oxygen, the rest is made up of Nitrogen, Argon, and various other trace gasses. Our oxygen stations produce about 90% oxygen-almost 5 times the amount we normally breathe.
Breathing higher concentrations of oxygen has several benefits. The most common comments that we receive from our guests are that their session made them feel refreshed and energized. Others have said that it helps to reduce their stress levels and clears their minds. A common reaction from students at college events is that the session helped their concentration levels (especially during finals week!).
Where do you get the oxygen?
The oxygen in our bars are provided by self-contained oxygen concentrators, not high-pressure cylinders, so our product is completely safe. These non-medical concentrators use a NASA created technology that's called Pressure Swing Absorption. PSA filters out the Nitrogen, Argon, and the other gas traces from the ambient air. It then sends the separated oxygen molecules (about 90%) to the recipient through the cannula and the other gasses are released into the atmosphere.
Is breathing oxygen harmful?
There are no risks or adverse effects with the short-term use of oxygen. The American Lung Association has said that receiving oxygen from an oxygen bar has no adverse effects on a healthy person.

Our rates vary depending on the type of event, location, and how many guests will be served. Our rentals are based on a session lasting up to 6 hours and usage is unlimited during the scheduled time. Our rate is all-inclusive. There are no extra charges for travel, delivery, set up, fuel surcharges, etc. The rate you are quoted is the rate that you are charged. Beware of other oxygen bar rental companies who add these charges onto their rental rate.
